Clay Hand Building & Create a Mosaic Art Tile, Walk with the Dinosaurs and Ceramic Bubble Painting Techniques

Your child will learn hand building techniques by taking a ball of clay and turning it into a really great looking fish!  Mosaics will also be introduced with tile puzzles.  Your child will go on an adventure & paint a dinosaur and  its matching fossil!  We will also be teaching a very unique bubble blowing technique that will be applied to a box, mug or bowl of your child's choice.

Clay Hand Building & Create a Picture Frame, Stamping Techniques and Create a Nightlight for special summer nights!

Your child will create a picture frame using cut-out techniques.  We will use table top hand building techniques with clay and cut-out shapes to create a one of a kind frame.  We will explore the use of rubber stamps by creating designs on a mug, bowl or box.  Your child will create a lamp  that will light up safely with battery-operated  tealights!

Mosaic Workshop using Clay Hand Building & Cut-Out Techniques, Create an Art Stone Lamp & Time to Shine!

Your child will design tiles using hand building techniques & cut-outs.   We will use wood shapes to apply the tiles using adhesive and grout.   Next, we will explore nature and create an art stone that lights up safely with three battery-operated tealights!   We will use an oval placque and design the background of a clock. After the glazing and firing process, a clock kit will be installed  to complete a fully functional clock!

Your child will make tiles using hand building techniques & cut-outs.   We will apply the tiles to a wood background using adhesive and grout.   Next, we will design a chiminea that lights up safely with a battery-operated tealight!  Your child will create a Disney Character or choose a Star Wars character!

Creative Workshop : Slip-Casting Techniques using ceramic molds & tools, Hands-On Workshop : Clay Hand Building Techniques using stamps, stencils & slip, Design Workshop : Learn the art of Sgraffito!

Your child will take the next step and work with actual ceramic molds learning slip-casting techniques.  We will use ceramic tools to streamline cut-out design techniques with stencils to create unique pottery which can light up - hold a candle - the possibilities are endless!  Electric assemblies and decorative bulbs are included in the fee.  We will also explore advance painting skills using a Sgraffito technique.
